The team included Dr. (Prof.) A. N. Rai (Founder President), Dr. Anil K Virmani (President Elect.), Dr. Mrityunjay K Singh (General Secretary), Dr. Abhishek Kumar (Joint Secretary) and Dr. Niharika Sinha (Treasure, CCDSI Patna Branch).

Honourable President expressed her concern over growing disease burden of Diabetes and Metabolic disorders, especially in younger population. She recognised the medical services, educational works, public awareness and research activities of CCDSI in the field of Cardio-Diabetology.

Central team CCDSI lead by Dr. Prof. A. N. Rai sir and Dr. Ajay Kumar Sinha sir met with the His Excellency of Sikkim Sri Ganga Prasad ji in Gangtok on 12th June 2022.

We communicated about the work in Clinical Cardiology and Diabetology being done by CCDSI.

We shared our vision for the proposed educational and public awareness programs in Northeast States of India.

CCDSI conducted its Mid-Term Conference in Siliguri on 10th June 2022. It was attended by founder president Dr. Prof. A. N. Rai, President Elect Dr. Anil Kumar Virmani and over 100 dignitaries and delegates across the country.

During the CCDSI founder president Dr.(Prof.) A. N. Rai announced to create West Bengal Chapter. Dr. Bijay Patni is selected as Founder Chairman, Dr. Dipanjan Bandopadhyay as Vice-Chairman and Dr. Shankha S. Sen as Founder Secretary of the chapter. The state headquarter will be at Siliguri.
